Napa Valley

Napa Valley is a renowned wine‑producing region north of San Francisco, with hundreds of vineyards set amid rolling hills. Its wineries range from small, family-run estates to landmarks such as Robert Mondavi Winery, offering summertime concerts and year-round tastings.
This was my first trip to Napa and I really enjoyed it.

There is really so much to see and do! I highly recommend a wine tasting tour. There is a decent amount of driving between the wineries and it’s much easier and safer not to take that on yourself.
We did visit in summer but the weather was very cool. In the 60’s! They did mention this was unusual for that time but you can imagine when you are used to Florida weather that is just COLD! Crowd level was not bad.

A great time to visit Napa is Fall, meaning Sept to October. This is “crush” time when they harvest the grapes. You want to see a winery in action, you come in Fall. .

We ended our trip with a few sights in San Francisco. If Alcatraz is on your list the tours book out months in advance! No kidding!

The Golden Gate Bridge is a MUST!
