All Girls Getaway aboard the Emerald Princess

A feel of the classic Mediterranean in the Caribbean!

She debuted in 2007, one of the fleets largest ships with 900 balconies.  An upgrade in 2015 helped the ship maintain its public areas and she received the new Princess Luxury bed (amazing). Emerald Princess has a classic European piazza feel. The ship’s atrium has the International Café and Vines wine bar and both venues are great for people watching.

The ship also offers Movies Under the Stars and The Sanctuary, the top deck’s adult-only outdoor spa and sun deck area. Princess was the first to offer these onboard attractions, and both have been widely adopted by other lines.

Aboard Emerald Princess, guests can spend their time by the pool, in the library or getting treatments at the Lotus Spa. Though the ship lacks the high energy entertainment of other ships, it earns high praise for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly crew members. And while the ship can carry up to 3,092 passengers (and 1,200 crew members), the ship never seems crowded.
We sailed on a 4 night Girl’s Cruise that included a stop to Grand Turk, which I might add I absolutely love the Turks and Caicos so it was the main reason in choosing this sailing.

In my opinion for a short sailing it was fine. It worked well for an adults getaway. I would not recommend the ship for children. There is just not enough to keep them occupied. I did find it relaxing with many quiet areas to kick back with a good book!
